Today felt like the longest day ever? Maybe it’s because I got quite a bit done. Or maybe it’s because Ellie only had a short nap. I’m not really sure. But I am proud to say that I got dressed to shoes this morning, and I did my hair and put on my face.
And when I say I did my hair, I mean I did it. I cut off a whole bunch of it. It was driving me crazy and I felt like I could style it better and manage it better if it were much shorter. So instead of a long layered v haircut, like I usually do, I just put my hair into a ponytail.. added a bit of length with a second ponytail… and CHOP!
It is a bit uneven, but honestly I don’t care that much? We’ll see what it looks like tomorrow when my hair is in it’s full air dried curly glory. But I’m really enjoying this haircut so far. Hopefully I don’t get tired of it too soon.
My sink is still shining! And I did about 15 minutes of crisis cleaning.. before my daughter kept interrupting and getting upset with me because I was using the vacuum. I don’t really understand why she was upset, the vacuum doesn’t really scare her or anything. Maybe she was upset that I was cleaning up all of the leftover food on the floor that she might’ve been “saving for later”?
I love all red lipstick actually…
January 17, 2021 – I am grateful today that I am becoming better at time management skills. I can’t believe that I got quite a bit accomplished today, AND I did my nails. And I’m done with my evening routine. And I’m sitting here in bed before 11PM.
