Wow! We had a super long day today. I woke up very early this morning to clean up the house because my good friend from work was coming to visit with her two babies. My friend has two kids, one toddler, about Eleanor’s age, and one 6-month old. So I wanted to make sure that our house was clean enough so that the kiddos could run around and play toys all day.
And OMG they had a blast. I feel like most kids haven’t been able to socialize with other kids because of the COVID pandemic. Ellie’s favorite person is ME, obviously, but whenever there are other smaller humans around, her face just lights up. She gets so excited whenever there are other kids to interact with. On one hand, it’s so adorable to see, and on the other it’s also really sad.
My house is finally clean .. enough today. And now my goal is to keep it this clean until my in-laws come over this weekend. My husband and I have plans to have some fun dinners the nights they are here. Especially because it is Valentine’s Day weekend too.
I need to go to sleep and get some extra rest though, I can kind of feel my immune system going down. I woke up with a post nasal drip sore throat. I know that it has a lot to do with the crazy cold weather and my allergies, but I should be taking better care of myself nonetheless.
I feel like fun purple lipstick like this looks very good on me, but there’s no real place for me to wear it. Maybe the color is just more my “season” rather than actually looking good on me? Is really intense purple lipstick acceptable in society? And even if it was acceptable to wear purple lipstick like this, when would I be able to go out and wear it in public without a mask?
February 7, 2021 – Today I’m grateful for my health. And I’m praying for my grand-aunty Shirley today, that she recovers from the Corona Virus quickly.
