Today was another long day, but a very fun day for all of us. We had a small celebration for Mylene’s birthday this evening and we all had so much fun. Tomorrow we’re going to be having a small party for the super bowl, so as soon as I wake up tomorrow morning, I’m going to have to crisis clean 101 before everyone comes to visit. Fortunately Nathan is taking the morning off and can watch Ellie and help with the cleanup.
Even though I was limited on time today because we were preparing for the birthday party, I still did clean up quite a bit in our kitchen. I just bought some new dishes from Costco, so I just washed them and now need to put them into their new home… and now I need to give away our old dishes. They’ll actually probably go to Nathan’s new workers who will be moving in to their studio within the next week or so.
Because it’s been so cold here lately, I dressed Ellie in this adorable fuzzy jacket that my dad bought her from China a long time ago. She was too small for it up until recently, but she looks so adorable in it. She looks like a fuzzy little marshmallow.
It’s still early in the evening but all of us are tired and need to rest up for a busy day tomorrow. I’m still very proud of myself for being consistent and writing this post (even if I am very tired). Usually when I’m too tired, I don’t finish my before bed routine and I just let everything get out of hand, but not today!
February 6, 2021 – Today I’m thankful for Mylene and hope she has a wonderful birthday.
