Update: Day #4 – Kitchen Cabinet Declutter – Part 3
Sometimes it’s not Before and After, but Before and Progress. And that’s ok! Things don’t always work out the way we planned them, and I think that learning to be flexible about it is important. I am much more of a control freak than I’d like to be. I love planning things and I have quite a few obsessive compulsive quirks, but I try not to let them control my life. And it’s really important to become as flexible as possible when you have a toddler. Because toddlers don’t give a damn what your plans are. Hahahaha.
December Daily Gratitude # 5:
Does having “me time” count as something I can be grateful for? I used to have lots of time to be by myself when I was on layovers, but ever since I had Eleanor, I haven’t had a lot of time alone. My husband surprised me this morning by washing my car and watching Eleanor while I went to have breakfast with my friends from high school. Although the morning started off very stressful, I got to enjoy a really relaxing and delicious meal with friends as an adult.
Day #5 – Kitchen Cabinet Declutter – Part 4:
These before and after pictures are getting really fun to post! Sometimes I feel pretty unmotivated to clean and declutter, but lately I’ve been feeling pretty positive. I really had to laugh when I attempted to declutter my utensils drawer. We really could get away with having 6-8 of each utensil… but for whatever reason I just can’t give them up yet! This is very not-minimal, but I think this is just something I’ll need to revise at a later date. Maybe if I buy myself a set of utensils that I really love I can get rid of the rest of them.
Lastly, I’m still working on rearranging my food storage containers and vitamins. Hopefully I’ll make some progress tomorrow that I can post. See you tomorrow!!
