December Daily Gratitude #31:
Thank you God for this wonderful year of my life. I am so thankful for all that you have provided for me and my family. I can’t wait to see what you have planned for us next year.
Day #31: Happy New Year!!!
Wow I can’t believe that I actually consistently wrote on here for a whole month! I’m pretty darn proud of myself. I think I will continue to try and write on here every day (as much as possible). I have found writing on this blog to be extremely therapeutic and I love that writing on this blog daily counts as my “Scribe” portion of the miracle morning.
This afternoon we went and played with the sheep. There are so many new little lambs and they are totally adorable. I love seeing Eleanor interact with them, she walks around like she owns the place and hugs and kisses all the babies. Ellie skipped her nap again today, which means I’m extra tired too.
So I decided to take a break from the decluttering this evening. Give myself a small rest before diving back in tomorrow for the new year. I did in fact start out writing how I will begin to clean our office, but even as I broke down each task, everything still seems super daunting. It’s going to be a big project, but I know I’m going to feel a million times better once it’s done.
While I’m still trying to decide exactly what to challenge myself with in the next coming months, I did come across a fun project that I’d like to do while attempting to declutter my makeup drawer. Firstly, let’s be clear that I still have absolutely way too much lipstick. I know this. Completely. Wholeheartedly. But I thought it might be fun to take pictures of myself everyday wearing a different color. And then I can decide which shades of lipstick to keep and which ones to get rid of. We’ll see how it goes. This might actually force me to put my face on every morning, who knows!
