December Daily Gratitude #29:
I’m so thankful that I’m getting better at planning, specifically meal planning. Ok, it’s mostly because I kind of despise going to the grocery store….especially when a holiday is coming around. I think years prior, I had less people to feed? Which made it easier. This is a funky year where we’ll be celebrating on our own (which is totally cool too). So by going to the store early to beat the crazy crowds, and the early planning we did this week, I’m feeling much less stressed.
Day #29: Starting the process..
So I took a little time last night starting the process of decluttering our bedroom. There’s really something about sleeping in a peaceful room without clutter. When I woke up this morning, I took two deep breaths and everything just felt better. BUT, I feel like I’m treading on a thin line of tidying instead of decluttering. Tidying is easy, putting things away, but getting rid of things is much more difficult. So I need to make a greater effort in that sense. I decluttered my bras this morning, so that was a good start. Hopefully I’ll have more progress to share tomorrow.
Do you ever sometimes feel the need to eat Vienna Sausage, furikake and rice? I had the weirdest craving for it this evening…
