Day #25 – Merry Christmas!!!
Oh gosh. I’m going to be honest and say I’m super overwhelmed with how everything went with Christmas. It was so fun and exciting, but I’m so dang tired (as expected from a pregnant lady). I’m also overwhelmed with the amount of toys Ellie now has. I mean, I KNEW it was going to happen, I’m just trying to figure out where everything goes now in this aftermath of Christmas. Haha.

Oh Eleanor was so cute this morning though. She was so excited to play with her cousin Isaiah and whatever toys were open, she had no interest in opening any other new toys. She was copying everything Isaiah was doing, taking off her shoes, following him around, it was so adorable. The problem with her playing so much, was that Nathan and I ended up opening most of the gifts for her. So this year, the concept of opening presents was still a little lost on Ellie, but she loved getting new toys. So many new things to play with!

But now, I’m sitting in a huge pile of things that I’m not 100% sure of where they’re supposed to go in my house. It kind of feels like a minimalism set back? But not really. I honestly love and appreciated all of the gifts that I received and most things I have a place for, I think it’s just overwhelming to see it all at one time.

Ellie was so excited, after such a fun-filled day. But after our fun Strawberry French Toast dinner, she was NOT interested in going to bed. We did her bedtime routine and then she insisted on playing while Nate was napping next to her. So we just let her go over to visit with her Nana for a while. Especially since Nana is going home tomorrow (which we’re all sad about).

And here’s how Ellie came back home. Haha. Wiped out. Safe to say that she had a very busy day. SO now it’s time for me to go to bed too. Goodnight & Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
