Doing December Daily #10

December Daily Gratitude #10:
Today I’m grateful for patience. I really do try to have an infinite amount of patience, especially when it comes to my daughter and husband, but I’m definitely not perfect. We’ve been waiting and waiting for the hospital to schedule our ultrasound to find out if we’re having a girl or boy. And today I finally got the call! Now that I’ve scheduled my appointment I feel like I can relax a little. I’m not sure if it’s because I was worried they’d forget about me or something. So I’m really glad I had the patience and self control to NOT call the hospital asking to follow up and schedule my appointment.

Day #10: Kitchen Declutter – Pantry Progress
This was kind of a strange day, because I didn’t really feel like I was getting rid of things. I actually spent a lot of time today trying to fold and put away laundry, but also I was putting away lots of random food and snack items that have been accumulating in other places in the house.

I swear, every time I blink, we somehow have another snack or bag of candy open on our kitchen counter. But today was strange for me, because I actually had a place to put all those snacks that are always piling up. Now the real trick will be to teach Nathan where the snacks are… and where to put them back.

Sorry these posts are getting shorter and shorter. I’m just pregnant and super tired. Ellie has been waking up in the middle of the night lately. I feel like she’s always teething, but the past few nights in particular have been pretty rough for her… and me too. That’s probably the real reason I’ve been so sluggish lately. Hopefully a better night’s sleep tonight will do the trick. I hope everyone isn’t feeling too overwhelmed by the holiday season. See you tomorrow!
